Brian Broderick Appears In 2nd Game For Kansas City Royals

Brian Broderick, late of the Charros de Jalisco, and reigning Reliever of the Year in the Liga Mexicana del Pacifico, made his second appearance for the Kansas City Royals this spring.

Broderick pitched a scoreless 8th inning for the Royals, giving up 2 hits with no walks and no strikeouts as the undefeated Royals beat the winless Milwaukee Brewers 6-4.

Meanwhile, Eric Farris, from the LMP Champion Tomateros de Culiacan, was 0-1 as the Minnesota Twins and Pittsburgh Pirates played to a 1-1 tie.

Rico Noel, a teammate of Farris on the Tomateros, went 0 for 1 for the San Diego Padres in a 6-3 win over the Chicago Cubs.
