After vacillating for months on who would and would not be in the Pecos League for the 2015 season, Commissioner Andrew Dunn has announced that the Bisbee Blue are out and the Las Cruces Vaqueros are in.
Here is an article I wrote for the Big Bend Courier in Alpine Texas.
Dunn has finalized the 2 division league like this:
Northern Division: Taos Blizzard, Trinidad Triggers, Las Vegas (NM) Train Robbers and the Santa Fe Fuego.
Southern Division: Roswell Invaders, White Sands Pupfish, Las Cruces Vaqueros and the Alpine Cowboys.
I'll have news on exciting roster changes for the Cowboys in the coming days and I will be reporting on the Pecos League here in my blog starting in late April, early May.

Bisbee Blue Leave the Pecos League for 2015
The Bisbee Blue played their inaugural in the Pecos League in 2014. The Blue will be playing ball in Bisbee in 2015, just not in the professional Pecos League. Instead, they will become a part of the Kino League, a collegiate summer league.
Andrew Dunn will retain ownership of the Blue and has not closed the door on a return to the Pecos League in the future.
The Las Cruces Vaqueros will rejoin the Pecos League. “I’m extremely disappointed to say the least,” Dunn said. “But at the end of the day Las Cruces is too good of a place not to have back.”
The Pecos League will consist of two divisions. The Northern Division will consist of the Taos Blizzard, Trinidad Triggers, Las Vegas Train Robbers and the 2014 League Champion Santa Fe Fuego.
The Southern Division will have as it's teams, the Alpine Cowboys, Roswell Invaders, White Sands Pupfish and the Las Cruces Vaqueros.
The season runs from the 20th of May through the 29th of July with a 4 team playoff to commence on the day after the regular season.
The Alpine Cowboys, runners up in the 2014 championship begin their season on the 20th of May with a 4 game series at home against the Las Cruces Vaqueros and end up the season on the 25th-28th of July with 4 games at home against the White Sands Pupfish.
