JJ Watt Contnues To Help Texans...Even In The Off Season

The 2014 unanimous pick for Defensive Player of the Year, JJ Watt, continues to help the Houston Texans throughout this off season.

Watt was due to receive a $10 million roster bonus but he has agreed to a $10 million signing bonus instead.

What is the difference you ask? The entire roster bonus would count against the Texan's salary cap while the signing bonus can be spread over the next 5 years. Don't worry though, JJ will get his $10 million this year and the Texans can sure use the $8 million savings.
