Saints Beat Listless Bears 31-15 on MNF

Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints looked like a new team on Monday night, defeating the Chicago Bears 31-15. Brees threw for 375 yards and 3 touchdowns with no interceptions in the win. The Saints improved to 6-8 on the year, a game in front of the Carolina Panthers and the Atlanta Falcons in the NFC South Division.

Jay Cutler went 17 of  31 for 194 yards, 2 touchdowns and 3 interceptions against a stingy, swarming Saints defense. Cutler was sacked 7 times for the game.

Bears Ground Falcons 27-13

The Chicage Bears beat the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday by a score of 27-13. The Bears remain tied with the Packers for the NFC Central lead.

Jay Cutler threw for 381 yards and a touchdown.

Jared Allen recorded his first sack of the year.

Willie Young got his 6th and 7th sacks for the Bears.

Packers Beat Dolphins with :03 on the Clock 27-24

Aaron Rodgers threw a 4 yard touchdown pass to Andrew Quarless with 3 seconds remaining in the game to overtake the Dolphins 27-24.

Rodgers threw for 264 yards on a 24 for 42 passing day with 3 TDs and no INTs. Jordy Nelson caught 9 passes for 109 yards and 1 TD. Rodgers has 15 TDs on the year with 1 INT

The Dolphins failed on a 4th and 1 at the Packers 1 yard line in the third quarter. The Dolphins have attemped a league leading 9 4th down plays but have only succeded on 2 of them.

The Packers remain tied with the Bears atop the NFL Central with a 4-2 record.
