Mexicali and Navojoa Tied 3-3 After 11 Innings

LEAGUE RULES END GAME AT MIDNIGHT

For the second night in a row the Aguilas and Mayos battled for 11 innings. But unlike Wednesday, the Thursday game was suspended with the score tied at 3. The Liga Mexicana del Pacifico rules state, and I paraphrase here, "...when it is the last game of a series and the visiting team must travel for a game the next day, the last inning played will end at midnight".

The 1st pitch was thrown at 7:30 local time and the game ended 4 hours and 43 minutes later Christian Zazueta hit into third out force out at 12:18 in the morning local time. Both teams had batted in the 11th inning. Each team scored a run and the game was called with the score 3-3.

David Harris
The Aguilas run in the last inning came on a solo home run by David Harris.

The Mayos used a single by Luis Fonseca, a sacrifice bunt by Omar Renteria and a single by Fernando Flores that drove in Fonseca.

Mexicali had taken the lead in the 6th on a wild pitch that scored Javier Salazar and a bases loaded single to right by David Harris that scored Juan Perez.

Navojoa would tie the game in the bottom of the 8th on a single by Alonzo Harris, who then stole second and scored on a single by Victor Mendoza leading to extra innings and the 11th inning suspension of the game
