Hector Rodriguez allowed just 3 hits, walked 1 and struck out 6 in 6 1/3 innings on the mound for the Aguilas. Neither pitcher allowed a run. Neither pitcher figured in the decision. In the top of the 8th inning, Zadwadski hit a solo home run to increase the lead to 3-0. Aldazaba followed with a one out walk and scored when Jesus Castillo hit a 2-2 pitch over the wall in right center for a 5-0 Mayos lead.
